Rules of salary deductions
Regardless of employee's consent, the following deductions shall be made mandatorily:
- taxes and other obligatory payments by law
- charges under court decisions
- withholding advance pays made by employer
- compensation of harm caused by employee to employer in case the amount of such harm does not exceed employee's average monthly salary
- fines for violation of labor discipline
The total amount of deductions may not exceed 50% of employee's salary at any time. Deductions on alimony (child support) obligations can be up to 70% of the salary.
